'Chop Cup' Short Delivers Real Twist, Rarity for Abbreviated Format

There is no shortage of trippy short films and music videos floating around on the Internet. We love them as much as anyone, but we get a particular thrill when we see something executed that tells a story with some impact ... and, an actual ending.

Behold 'Chop Cup', a new short that brilliantly mixes digital and analogue film methods to create a clever piece with no dialogue and a mind-hump at the end that demonstrations just how important perspective is in narrative and in life. ("Do not adjust your mind. There is a fault in reality." ... gold!)

Design, direction and post were handled by weareom (weareom.com), a group out of London that describes themselves as "interested in the synergy of analogue and digital media." Production was by Studioset (studioset.tv), and David Lee (davidleedop.com) did the lighting and created the great time-lapsed making-of video below.
